Dear Friend,We’re the Pearson family.In February of 2024, our world changed forever when we lost our son, Michael, to suicide.He was 16 years old — full of laughter, kindness, and dreams that reached as high as the sky.There are no words big enough to describe the ache that follows such a loss. But out of that pain, we made a promise: to carry forward the love we have for him by helping others find hope, connection, and light.
These heart stones included in this box are a symbol of that love — both ours for Michael, and ours for you. Michael has one of these stones in his hand. Knowing that Michael also holds one of these stones brings us deep comfort — it connects us across the veil, reminding us that love continues to bind us together.
On the back, you’ll see the forget-me-not flower, a reminder that love and memory are eternal.On the front, the heart reminds us that love remains — it just changes form.
Through the FlyLikeMike Foundation, we hope to bring comfort, resources, and support to those touched by suicide loss, and to strengthen the message that you are not alone. Our family believes that small acts of compassion — a meal, a message, a moment of presence — can become bridges back to life.
